In March of 2020, Quidditch Nederland had to shut down all its activities due to the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19. By now it is allowed to play contact sports again in The Netherlands, despite the virus still being present. After consultation with all team, Quidditch Nederland has decided to continue the Dutch Quidditch League as much as possible.
In the 2020-2021 season, the Dutch Quidditch League will consist of two parts: an Autumn Split and a Spring Split. The ranking of the Autumn Split would determine which teams may represent the Netherlands at the European Quidditch Cup (EQC) in 2021. In consultation with the boards of the teams, however, it has been decided to no longer count the results of the league as qualification for EQC.

- Sunday 18 April 2021
