Nicolas Volders steps up as new Flying Dutchmen head coach

We are happy to announce that Nicolas Volders has been hired as the new head coach of the Dutch National team, the Flying Dutchmen.

Belgian quidditch player Nicolas Volders has taken over the role of head coach of the Flying Dutchmen. Previously, Nicolas was Assistant Coach to the team and helped coaching the team to the 13th place at European Games 2019. The process of selecting a team of assistant coaches and other team staffers is still going on.

Due to financial and time constraints, Nicolas Volders and Quidditch Nederland have decided against participating at the IQA World Cup 2020 in Richmond (VA), United States.

Nicolas will be head coach for the period February 2020 until European Games 2021. Continental Cup in May 2020 is too soon in the process, so Nicolas has decided to solely focus on European Games. Quidditch Nederland however, is trying to work on an alternative to be able to send a team of interested Dutch player to this tournament.
